Description
Brazil is the largest coffee producer in the world, with landscapes ranging from smallholder farms to large estates across Minas Gerais and beyond. Grown at moderate altitudes between 900 and 1100 meters, these coffees benefit from stable climates that support consistent development and natural sweetness.
This lot is composed of Bourbon and Catuai varieties, initially processed using the natural method. It then undergoes the Swiss Waterยฎ decaffeination process โ a water-based method that removes caffeine without chemical solvents. The coffee is gently hydrated and circulated through Green Coffee Extract (GCE), allowing caffeine to be removed while preserving the soluble flavour compounds that define the cup.
The result is a decaffeinated coffee that retains Brazilโs classic profile: caramelised sweetness, chocolate depth, and a smooth, rounded body. Balanced and dependable, it is designed to be enjoyed at any time of day without sacrificing structure or comfort.
