Description

Santa Maria is part of Grupo Las Nubes and is led by Victor Robelo, a third-generation coffee producer whose family has been involved in coffee since 1937. The farm, located in Aranjuez, Matagalpa, sits within La Reserva El Arenal, where coffee grows under natural forest shade. Victor reclaimed and restored the family farms after years of displacement, rebuilding them with a clear focus: high performance, high quality, and long-term stability . His approach is rooted in teamwork, careful harvesting, and full traceability from seed to cup. Cherries are meticulously selected, and the farm’s elevation of 1380–1500 masl allows for slower maturation and greater sweetness development.  Processing is carried out with precision, whether washed, natural, or honey, always aiming to highlight clarity and depth.

The result is a vibrant and expressive cup structured, fruit-forward, and layered carrying both the resilience of the farm’s history and the discipline of its present.
